10 days agoNEW YEAR'S DAEDALUS: Fresh today, Daedalus 3.1.0 delivers support for the upcoming ‘Cardano app for Ledger' device functionality, required for ongoing use of Daedalus with Ledger hardware wallets.
It also includes improved stake pool search functions. You can now search for pools by their IDs, now also displayed in the Delegation wizard for additional verification. Double-check your preferred pool's ID against their website or social profile.

26 days agoICYMI: interoperability isn't just a buzzword with Cardano. With the launch of KEVM Devnet 140.000 Ethereum Smart Contracts will be compatible & deployable on Cardano; so you can build on Solidity, Glow or other EVM languages & deploy on Cardano.
During the monthly Cardano show earlier today, Cardano's devnets was highlighted. This is to create and drive interoperability & bring new Solidity development talent (and more) into the ada ecosystem.
As we head towards 2021, we're thrilled to officially announce that the first of these devnets, our new 2020 KEVM devnet, has just gone LIVE earlier tonight. We'll bring you more info tomorrow.
It's still brand new, so expect some further optimizations over the holiday period. But step one has been completed – we're live and powering up for an amazing 2021!

34 days agoGAME ON: We are delighted to confirm that earlier last week, we successfully applied a change to the Cardano protocol, which will take effect on the 16th December, at the boundary of epoch 236 @ 21:54:44 UTC.
Cardano momentum continues with this protocol update (codename: 'Allegra') which delivers token locking to the platform, a core building block of both Voltaire governance and Goguen smart contract functionality
The next Project Catalyst town hall is coming up later today on Friday, December 11th at 6 PM GMT. Will we see you there? As a participant in Project Catalyst, you are an integral part of bringing on-chain governance to Cardano. Your contribution matters, so we hope you'll jump in and make your voice heard.
